September 30 N 30 2017 Collage

September 2017 was very interesting to me creatively.  I have painted and I am grateful to Leslie Saeta for her willingness to support artists like me all over the world.  I was able to refocus my creative energy in the changes our family has been in.  Pen and Ink is my go to art medium because it is portable and easy to pick up at any time.  Last year I began making gift tags and continued with that this year.

Picmonkey is no longer free for me and I don’t use it often enough to pay $3.99 a month to use it.  I tried a couple of other “free” apps and found the same problem.  I tried my Photoshop elements but it was a little cumbersome.  Fudging, I used the PrtScr and pasted my collage into Elements.  The only problem is that I could not seem to get them both on the same collage.  That means I have two!

I am still working on the painting with swirls.  The “Sing a New Song” is finished and is on a card for my Mom’s ministry.  Two are recently sold pieces.  “Overflow” just came back from hanging in my first gallery show.  Busy month!
