Day 26: Hookers Green Hue (Sep 2015)

I bought Golden’s Hookers Green Hue because I had it in my watercolor palette but have not used it.  Today’s endeavors brought some delightful surprises.  I’m definitely keeping this color.

  1. It has a very high tinting strength – a little goes a long way.
  2. Mixing it with Cadmium Red Hue makes a yummy brown.
  3. Mixing it with Ultramarine Blue produces a color that resembles Payne’s Gray.
  4. It mixes greens that resemble Texas Sage.
