Day 21: Quinacridone Magenta (Sep 2015)

Some of the work in doing the audition sheets is becoming predictable but there is always a surprise.  Today I worked with Golden’s Quinacridone Magenta and was somewhat surprised when I realized that the colors I have worked with have been nearly transparent by themselves.  Quinacridone Magenta was very transparent.  Of course, when I added Titanium White it becomes more opaque.  I encountered a problem today with the middle values.  It seems as if the color actually shifted in the middle range and I could not quite get those values correct.
