Still struggling with sinus issues and remodeling. Painting is a relief. This painting is from a photo I took where the flowers looked like a little heart. I have found that green is a problem for me. It is my favorite color and I can mix paint but getting the look I want – well – that is a little difficult. Maybe I should do a painting entirely in greens.
I also chose a little black canvas – Why did I do that? It just made getting the greens correct more difficult and I had to apply a lot of paint to get my lights brighter.
